Frequently Asked Questions
What is the YYC Bubble Tea and Asian Dessert Festival?
A collaboration between Crescent Heights Village BIA, Chinatown BIA and International Avenue BRZ that celebrates the great bubble tea and dessert offerings in our areas. We invite Asian-food establishments to enter a special drink or dessert for the public to try and vote on throughout the month of August. At the end of the month (August 27th), a panel of celebrity judges will taste the top five and choose the 2022 winner.
Contact Crescent Heights Village BIA on Instagram @crescentheightsvillage or at info@crescentheightsvillage.com. We will forward you a digital voucher with a unique number to show the BBT venues. They won’t charge you. You can try one item at each venue.
Share, share, share! Post about what you tried and how you liked it. Encourage your readers/followers to get out and try some then vote for their favourite entries.
Yes please! We’ll give away BBT and Asian Dessert prize pack to winners if they like and @ us and the business whose entry they liked best. Bonus entry if they follow the BIA pages too. Prize pack will be one of each entry. We’ll share the contest on our social media as well, of course.
Ideally during the week of August 15th. But you can post anytime between now and August 27
