You Belong Bench Artist

Crescent Heights community

For Parking Day 2020, the Crescent Heights Village BIA set ups a painting studio in a parking space outside of K Town Fried Chicken, Flame Mountain BBQ and Gord’s Running Store. We invited members from the community to paint benches in support of Calgary Pride (it was Pride Month, after all!)

We had a bunch of kids and grown-ups alike join us for some fun and painting under the leadership of local community builder Tyson Bankert

We created two benches, one with pride colours (which can be found outside of Urban Canna) and one with trans pride colours (which can be found outside of Tigerstedt Flea Pop-up Market).
