Autumn is here, and Crescent Heights Village is the perfect place to kick off the season. From free family activities and neighborhood celebrations to new restaurants and special guests, there’s something for everyone this weekend. Here’s what’s happening around the Village.

Oktoberfest is here and Two Pillars has the steins and the music ready! They will have four German-style classics to choose from: MƤrzen, Festbier, Hefeweizen & Grapefruit Radler. Served up in flights, pints, or full-on 1L steins.

Alavanca Calgary is hosting a free event for kids that want to try Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on September 27th!

This is your chance to come learn about the sport, meet our coaches and have some fun! We will have a free BBQ, snacks and an introductory class. All you need to do is come by at 10:00am wearing athletic clothing and leave the rest to our team. All skill levels are welcome to join.

Additionally, any kids that are currently members at any Alavanca location are welcome to come and bring a friend to try it out, and be entered to win a ln exciting prize!

This European inspired bistro with vintage charm is a definite welcome addition to the Calgary restaurant scene. Expect to find a thoughtfully curated beverage list and delicious eats. The standouts right out of the gate include their Pâte En Croute, Truffle Fries, and Pork Schnitzel. And you gotta save room for dessert, their NY Banana Cheesecake with miso caramel & banana brûlée is a must!
