Security Grant
Your BIA understands that crime, graffiti, vandalism and other social disorder is a big concern for your business. We offer about 15 security grants per year worth up to $1,000 each.
Eligible expenses include:
- Security cameras and monitoring
- Alarm systems
- Security shutters
- Door locks and security bars
- Anti-pry door plates
- Anti-shatter glass coating
- Lighting
- Others
Grants are available on a first-come-first-served basis annually. Priority will be given to those businesses who haven’t previously received a grant. Grant approval may require a free security assessment provided by Calgary Police Service. Proof of purchase and invoice required for reimbursement.
