Public Art Projects

We’ve got a lot on the go in Crescent Heights Village this summer…and we need your help!

The Key To Happiness
Crescent Heights Village BIA wants your stories of joy, happiness and connection for our public art project. Your story will be connected with a key displayed with many others in Crescent Heights. They will be anonymous and will be included with dozens of others in an effort to create connection and community through public art. If you’d like to be kept up to date on the project, make sure you’re subscribed to our Love Local email list!

Submit your stories here!

Sowing the Seeds of Community
There’s nothing like live plants in the summer to bring a little colour and whimsy to the neighbourhood. We’re collecting coffee cans and other containers to mini planters to adorn fences around the community.

We’re looking for volunteers to:

  • Paint cans and drill holes for hanging
  • Filling and planting flowers
  • Hanging mini-planters on local fences.

Can you help? Send us an email here!

Complete! Check it out along 16th Ave.

Colour Wheels
Bathtub Bikes has donated dozens of bike rims in the name of art. We’re going to clean ’em up, paint ’em pretty colours and adorn the neighbourhood with them. Sound like fun? We need help:

  • Painting rims at a central location using our materials.
  • Hanging rims at a location(s) TBD on Centre St., Edmonton Tr. or 16th Ave. using our instructions and materials.
